Ms. Lakshmi Bhavani is a certified Child Psychologist and Special Education Tutor with over 18 years of experience. She holds a Master's degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology. Over the past decade, she has received specialized training in the Orton-Gillingham approach, Sonday System, and Learning Ally method, which are designed to support students with dyslexia and other learning difficulties.

Ms. Bhavani's extensive experience includes working as a resource specialist in the special education departments of various public schools in the San Francisco Bay Area (Marin and Santa Clara counties) for over 10 years.

Prior to this, she served as a school counselor and remedial instructor in international schools in Hyderabad, India, for more than 8 years. Her responsibilities in these roles included providing counseling support to students, conducting workshops for teachers, working with families, administering psychological assessments, designing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and handling behavioral issues using Behavior Modification Plans.

In addition to her professional expertise, Ms. Bhavani is also a performer and teacher of the Indian classical dance form Kuchipudi. She has effectively used dance therapy to assist children with ADHD and those on the Autism spectrum.

Ms. Bhavani's passion for education and her commitment to helping children with special needs make her a valuable resource for families and educators. She is dedicated to equipping parents and teachers with the skills and understanding needed to support their children's educational and personal development.

She is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she continues to support children with diverse learning needs.
